GTV clutch pedal

Assuming all else is correct on Jay's misaligned 71 GTV clutch pedal, there
is a length adjustment on the clutch MC rod that attaches to the pedal shaft
bellcrank. There is a pretty big range of adjustment, which can bring the
clutch pedal up to the same height as the brake pedal, allowing a lot more
swing of the pedal, and in theory actuation of the hydraulic circuit, before
the pedal reaches the floor. This might be the problem, assuming the
hydraulic cylinders and system are OK. And assuming the clutch rod wasn't
welded together wrong.

Another possibility is that the throwout bearing actuation arm is breaking,
not allowing full actuation. The two "cup" areas of the arm, one for the
pivot, and more commonly the other where the slave cylinder rod pushes, can
wear through or crack. But this doesn't really sound like that situation.
