911 vs GTV

911 has spine tingling flat (Boxer) 6 cyl, sorry but
no 4 cyl is as exciting.  However you won't believe
what a Porsche costs to maintain until you own one.
Lots of special tools and knowledge involoved in
Porsche maintenance.  I bet most shops get four grand
for the inevitable transmission & clutch job, two
grand just for clutch.  Eight hundred bucks to adjust
valves every 15,000 miles.  Expect to pay high teens
up for a nice 911.  The primo example is much cheaper
to own in the long run than the neglected one.
