As mentioned earlier you can gently pry the bezel of the gauge off and give the glass a cleaning. Know that any lint will show well so use a nice clean lint-free cloth to clean. Chances are the o-ring shrunk and that's how the glass got dirty in the first place, so you may need to replace the ring.
