91 Spider Tach adjustment???

Hello all,
 My 91 spider tach is totally out of adjustment. How do I adjust the tach to correct RPM. 2100 rpm = 3000 rpm, 3000rpm = 4000 rpm, it's off about 1000 rpm and more as rpm gets higher.
 The idle 800 rpm is the same.
 I saw one Tach adjustment posted for Milano, but will it be the same for Spider?
