Aztek: Family Design Continuity

I'm kind of glad this thread opened up again...
Last time, I was driving in to work and happened
to glance over at the GM dealer's lot, 
and there next to the row of Azteks was something
new. Is that a smaller Aztek? Did they leave it
in the car wash dryer too long? 

Aha! It's a Pontiac LeMans! Before I could post to
the digest about the similarity, the thread died down.

I was going to search for an appropriate pic of a LeMans
and include the URL so you all could see for yourself,
but someone's taken it one step further:
