chains or belts

Brian, don't think you'd have to pay more for a car w/ chains - 
From the IAP catalog:
164 4 cam timing belt = $ 62.95; mechanical tensioner -  $ 69.25
2 cam V6 = $ 25.75
2.0 L upper chain = $ 33.25; master link - $ 3.95 

certainly doesn't seem to be any financial incentive to go to a bel.  I doubt 
this was Alfa's motivation (or any of the others who went that way, i.e. 
almost??? every car manufacturer)
