IMSA Milano/75

Here is what I know about the IMSA Milanos.

The Firehawk series was an IMSA class, as IS ( International Sedan ). I
currently own a privately built Milano that was run in IMSA IS from
1990-1993, after which IMSA dissolved the IS class. During this time period
there were no other Milano's run at the IMSA races. This series was
sponsored by Automobile magazine from 1992-1993 and LUK Clutches before
that. This car was a standard Milano Verde, had minor engine mods, torsion
bar from suspension, gutted interior, huge brakes, and standard safety
equipment. This cars original paint scheme was similar to the red/white
combo, but was black/white. This car was built as a race car from delivery
in SCCA SSA until conversion to IMSA IS in the winter of 1989. This car is
alive and well racing in the Sowdiv division SCCA in ITE.
