re: GTV 6 steering wheel removal

In AD8-0107 Jim Barrett, responding to a question about pulling a GTV 6
steering wheel, writes "due to the tapered fit, they really are a bear to
break loose." Alfa certainly used tapered fits on the hubs of the 750, 101,
105, and 115 cars but my understanding is that all 116 cars used a splined hub
which was not tapered. That wouldn't mean that they were not still a bear to
break loose - and I could be wrong.
