Henrik's correct about the necessary use of a wheel puller (got mine on Ebay
from a Texas pawn shop!); due to the tapered fit, they really are a bear to
break loose. With the puller screwed down (I used a large socket as a spacer
on the loosened nut), give the spindle (?) on the puller a slight rap with a
hammer, and it should break free.
