You need a steeringwheel puller :-)

a piece of ironrod, about 1/2 inch thick with 3 holes . Go down to your
local Kragen (or whatever you have) and get a standard puller set, then find
a good harware store which have some 6mm 100mm long bolts to put in the two
holes on each side of the steering column,
