torsion bar Qs?



hey folks,
i've got some milano questions for y'all:
does anyone happen to know off-hand how the torsion
bars are threaded for removal? it looks kind of like
an M12 coarse, but i didn't have a variety of bolts to
check with.

also, i'll be fabbing a removal tool this week. it
looks like the job requires a nut and bolt combo held
off the bar mount by a cylinder. do i need a recess in
the cylinder for t-bar clearance or is the t-bar free
by the time it comes flush with the rear of the mount?
