Re: hatch struts



Yeah, I too purchased my GTV6 with a dead strut and stick included.  I soon 
tired of holding the hatch up while putting the stick in place, so I 
duct-taped one end of the stick to one corner of the hatch so when I opened 
it the stick would fall into place.  To close it, I just made sure the 
stick was tipped more than 45 degrees with my left hand when I closed the 
hatch--I could even close it one-handed.  But for whatever reason, after 
I'd driven the car for about 15 months I broke down and bought a used strut 
from APE for $25...
