Dean,

About 10 years ago when I suspected oil dilution here's what I did:
I removed the small oil filter cover plate from the Spica unit (or I may of
just generously loosened it - I forget).  Then I turned the ignition to the
on position to run the fuel pump (did not start the engine).
Then I got a drip, drip, drip, of gasoline out of the Spica oil filter area.
