Hi List -
Hope all are well. First off I would like to express my profound sadness for 
the evil that has shown its ugly face in this beautiful country - the 
ugliness just seemed so out of place. We are stronger and healing.

On a lighter note -

Lawrence Gowin asks about the Tammy Faye car (which I almost hurt myself 
laughing at yesterday) ;)

Sorry it this old info - it looks like the tammy faye car was shot in the 
czech republic and was a skoda product in a earlier time. I dont think Im 
wrong about the make. These types of cars are actually pretty famous in 
rally circles - rear engine awd lots of bhp. Skoda is a marque that actually 
has some decent lineage from rallying in the 60s and 70s. After reading 
Sideways to Sydney (Mercedes team account of 1968 london to Sydney rally) - 
one appreciates the lengths the poor Czechs will go to support motorsport 
and rallying in particular - its touching. A lot of stories of guys building 
their own cars from parts just for racing. Dedicated bunch indeed who are 
willing to improvise and overcome.
