Re: alfa-digest V8 #83 - bumps in or bumps out?



       The exhaust gaskets between the head and exhaust manifold will only 
fit one way.  The gaskets have a flat side and a round side, for lack of a 
better description.  The flat side has to go down.  If you put the round side 
down, the gasket will fold over at the junction between the head and the 
block.
       Hold the gaskets up to the block, match the oval to the ports and I 
think you will see how they fit.  I am not sure what that means about the 
bumps.
       I have no idea about the gasket between the manifold and the head pipe.
