clutch bleeding

How bad is the grinding in reverse?  If the other gears are okay, 
perhaps the clutch isn't the answer.  But I have had problems 
bleeding the clutch on the GTV6.  Last time I replaced the master 
cylinder, I ended up using a vacuum pump to such fluid through.  Only 
that approach eliminated enough of the air.
