Lower timing chain

No big deal to check if it is too loose!   Remove valve cover, make sure 
upper chain is tight then turn the crankshaft  a small amount in each
direction while observing the cam sprockets.   Cams must move in time with
the crankshaft.   If you can't understand that, quit, put the cam cover back
on and take it to an expert Alfa guy!  Fred Di Matteo
