seats for spider?

hi,

Now that the spider (86) is running, I'm considering
fixing the terribly torn up driver's seat. It has
the following troubles: ripped upholstery, rusted
out bottom & worn foam. 

I could fix the bottom myself, and get a seat cover,
but the cost of those seat covers! - $410 at IAP.
I think I could find some used recaros for that!

does anyone know of an alternative? I'd like to
get a cheap set of seat covers, but all that
I've seen are UGLY. I'd like some basic plain
black cloth covers. 

Or, does anyone have a nice seat or seats for
sale? I'd consider aftermarket...(my current
seats are black vinyl - grad model)
