Just wanted to say a public thank you for all the mail
I got after posting my "first-time Alfa owner needs
info" question. I probably won't be able to reply to
everyone individually. 

Found the paint color by looking in the trunk as
directed. I was surprised and delighted to see it
written in on the plate by hand "Bruno 836." So,
Chocolate Brown it is. Special thanks to John Hertzman
who even knew the Ditzler and Du Pont codes for this
color.

Took it out yesterday for its first real drive--up in
the Sonoma hills. I really wasn't driving fast at all
(within the speed limit, in fact) but people kept
pulling over to let me by. Love the sound of this
thing! I guess other people are impressed by it too.

Anyway, all the info and encouragement are much
appreciated.
