Master Cylinder Rebuild

This is the nasty, under the floor, dual booster one from the 69 Berlina. So
far I've got it off the car and the first piston came out on it own but I
don't know how to get the second piston out. Actually I do know that you
need compressed air but I don't have it available. Is there any other way to
do this or do I have to go begging at the local garage?

Also when the first piston came out a small flat headed screw about an inch
long with a 1/4" of thread came out loose. Its not on the parts diagram from
the CD but it does seem to screw into the back side of the front piston. Is
that the correct place for this?

So far the cylinder looks smooth, so other than these 2 hitchs its smooth
sailing.
