GTV dyno run

Hi everybody
I have the chance to have my 74 GTV 2 liter with Spica and stock motor
dynoed.  I want to do it before I change my cams to try to document before
and after change.  I know that there will be other changes, since a valve
adjustment is in order, etc.  But nonetheless I can do it for nothing.
Can somebody tell me how high can I safely run the engine RPMs without
risking damage.  I know that red line is at 5700 (carbs) or 5800 (Spica).
Is 6000 reasonable or too high?
This stock engine has about 110K miles on it, and uses a moderate amount of
oil.
