Milano/75: balljoints and upper A-arm bushing replacement

Hello,
I inspected all the balljoints on my Milano and found that all the rubber
boots were torn. The car also makes a funny noises when going over bumps.
Especially the passenger side, which sounds like it might just fall off
(loud clunk).
Unfortunately I was only able to get FRAP balljoints (all four of them).
No Lemforder(sp?) or TRW. I guess this shouldn't be a major issue as I hope
that I can retire this car to weekend fun pretty soon.
Should I change the upper A-arm bushings while I'm at it? Is there a
polyurethane replacement bushing for it? Any tips as to how I should
approach this job? This car is really fun, but I don't like torturing it
with 3 mile drives to the Safeways.
I can bike but my 21-speed Specialized Hard Rock has 2 warped Araya
wheels. Surprising that a good new set of Mavic/Sun/Araya wheels for my
bike is as expensive as a pair of my 16" wheels on my Milano!!! I don't
even want to think about the front shocks for it. A good pair of shocks for
my bike can buy me a whole set of KONIs for my Milano....sheesh!
So I'll have to get a commute car soon.
Thanks
Zamani
