ABS RFI

You need to find the ground for the ABS unit and check to see that it is
clean...sometimes the screws for the units are the ground. If the
surfaces are not clean or have picked up some crud then you will not
have a full ground. Then RFI will leak out of the system. It wants to
take the path of least resistance.
If that is not the case..try some aluminum foil over the unit or the
wires. That will sheild it from leaking.
You might want to get an inline RFI filter for the B+ side of the radio.
A good stereo shop that knows their stuff can trace down RFI and shield
it for you.
The car came from the factory with no RFI..so there is a secret in there
somewhere...most likely a ground has gone bad.
And if all else fails..get a portable AM radio tuned to frequency you
hear it at and go searching while applying the brakes for the noise
search. Most of the stuff I have mentioned is Ham radio information for
finding RFI leaks in ones radio shack. Any other hams out there that
might want to chime in ? *G*
