corvette

I got passed by a corvette of the '80s.At night I thought it was a lowered Ford Probe.I didn't even take it too serious.I think it is a fast car and would take more than we have normally available in an Alfa , in the US, to be faster than a good example of Corvette.
Give me an SZ- monstro on a winding mountain road and the odds might change, especially with a same year-model vette.
As far as M3? didn't they  come in US with like 50 less HP than in EU?
