Sears Point with CSRG - Reminder for Nor Cal Alfisti

Quick reminder for Alfa fans in Northern California; Terry Manchester may have
already posted this in the past but I figure I'd throw in another blurb.

The ARA has been invited by CSRG to once again participate in the lunchtime "Track
Tour" at Sears Point. This event will be held this Sunday, March 19th. This is not
a racing event, but rather, a "spirited drive" around Sears Point International
Raceway.

The Track Tour is usually well-attended and with the wonderful weather we've been
having (forecast says a repeat of last weekend is likely), I hope most of you within
striking distance will attend.

The cost is $10 to enter Sears Point (all day ticket) and $25 for ARA members to
participate in the Track Tour. The tour generally lasts a half hour, which - in my
experience - is plenty of time to get to know a track. If you don't wish to drive,
please do come spectate - trackside - in a corner worker's elevated booth. We'll
give you a neat yellow flag to wave with. I've done that too, and it's a great
opportunity at unobstructed sports photography (bring at least a 135mm lens, an
80-200 would be ideal).

Please do RSVP with Terry Manchester at terry.manchester@domain.elided before the weekend
since spots are limited. If you are not yet an ARA member, you may join at the
track. The annual subscription fee to the ARA is $25.00. Rich, Jess, Zamani ... see
you there. Giovanni, if you came up, you're more than welcome to stay over at our
Alfa-infested house!
