Yes it is safer to buy a new master cylinder.  But send your old one to me.

Does anyone have the address of the business that I think was located in 
Virginia(?) that rebuilds brake master cylinders?  Please forward it to me 
if known.  Also, am I proceeding correctly in rebuilding a master cyl, or is 
it safer to just spend the bucks and order a new one, and discard the old 
one?  Thanks for your suggestions.
