Wes Ingram SPICA Pumps-Some HELP here . . .

I need some reliability feedback on Wes Ingram's pumps.  My '79 Sprint
Veloce suddenly started having running problems the night before
Roebling Road and the consensus was the pump.  I've put 3000 miles on a
new 255 W.I. pump and I think it's the cause of the problem.  A little
help here . . .
