Relax, this was the ARDONA "factory" fix for power seats that would not
work because the armature stopped on a neutral spot. The blue box reverses
the current momentarily to ensure that no motor stops at a neutral spot. It
won't appear on the official service manual because it was a desperation
fix invented by ARDONA. Don't bypass or remove it. Your failure is almost
certainly those pesky Bosch switches that fail, with depressing regularity.
Forget diagnosis just search and destroy. Buy a set of switches (yup,
they's all diffrunt, not just the switch cap with the diagram) and just
replace as they fail. The newer ones appear to be slightly more durable,
miraculously.
