On my 155 V6, there is the slight "knocking" sound. It does it when you
rev up the engine and just before the rev settles down to idle, there is
this "clack clack clack" sound. Very very faint but I can hear it. Car
only has 35K miles and consumes no oil. My 2 previous 2.5L motors did it
and so does current 3.0L. Not sure about my dad's 164 3.0 or my mom's
GTV6. They all do that?
