Spider power window fixed

For those with any interest left, I did finally fix the power window in the
driver's door on my Spider. Turned out that the motor was "iffy" - it was
inoperative when removed, but after freeing up the stuck drive shaft with
the aid of the good ol' channel-locks it spun up quite well. I decided not
to risk putting it back, though, and bolted in the new one I'd already
acquired.

The bigger snag was that the cable had jumped off the pulley and jammed
between that and the regulator frame. As mentioned previously, the three
nuts holding the regulator to the door skin were all frozen onto their
round-headed pins, which just rotated merrily in the regulator frame. So I
equally merrily took a Dremel cut-off wheel to them. Knocking their
battered remains out of the frame left three perfectly usable 1/4" diameter
holes, and after replacing the cable in the right grooves, three short 1/4"
bolts reattached the regulator just perfectly.

Many thanks to all Digesters who offered advice, especially Hal Taylor, Paul
Kessels and Fred Di Matteo, and to O.T Johnson who came up with the spare
hand crank which made refitting the cable a breeze. All very much
appreciated!
