Canadian Spec cars

We went metric like the rest of the world, so we have to spec a metric 
speedo. Because we live so close to the US and visit there often we usually 
have dual speedos. km and "Imperial". Ever wonder why the US doesn't just 
spec dual readouts, don't you like driving in Canada? DRL's are easy to 
arrange, even ALFA just fit a relay to bypass the headlights off switch. 
And as for the 5 mph bumper standard, YOU guys started that strange 
requirement, then backed off for no apparent reason! We have very slippery 
roads and especially parking lots up here for four to six months per year. 
Rubber baby buggy bumpers may look ugly but they work!
