The part # for the Crane XR700 to fit Bosch 4-cyl is 700-0231.  It has
an optical trigger.  I used to sell these for VW's and never had one
come back.  There is also a higher performance version 3000
series(3000-0231).  It's supposed to provide hotter spark.  I'm gonna
try to fit one of these to my Marelli distributor, but if it doesn't
work, I'm buying a Bosch.  Anyone know where I can get a 0 231 178 006?
