Milano Brakes

Hello Sandro,

The following procedure helped me when dealing with
the rear brakes on my 88 Milano. I am not saying it
is the correct one or grantee that it will work for
you. I am sure others will disagree with me, but who
cares it worked for me and I want to share it with
you.

After I completely bled the system several times:

1. I had both rear wheels off the ground by the use of
jack stands. A lift will work even better.
2. Blocked the front wheels so the car does not move
in either direction.
3. Disengaged the hand brake and loosened it's
adjusting screw.
4. Put the car in neutral.
5. Proceeded to adjust pad clearance screws one at a
time while turning the tire. Once I felt/heard that
the pad is touching the rotor, backed off the screw
until there is no drag. Minor touching is OK.
6. Moved to the other screw on the same caliper and
repeated the same steps.
7. Applied the brake peddle few times and repeated the
procedure one more time on the same caliper before I
am done.
8. Locked the outer screw and installed the dust cap.
9. Moved to the other caliper and repeated the same
procedure.
10. Adjusted the hand brake screw. Done with good
results.

Please let me know if you have any good results if try
it.

Good luck.
