Which Car to Race?

I have sold my trusty 80 Scirocco S (daily driver/ weekend racer) and am =
now left with out a racer.

I have two choices my 1) 83 GTV-6 or my 2) 87 Milano Verde.  I would =
probably be racing time trials/road racing and some autocrosses.  I am =
torn over which vehicle to race prep..  Both are poised and ready to be =
prepped..

Keep in mind I don't have a limitless budget..  Help me decide.
