Automatics and LSD

I went out on what I thought was a very safe limb in questioning whether the
automatic Milano had a limited slip differential; the Alfa sales literature I
have is very definite in saying that the earlier Silver/Gold/Platinum lineup
(pre-automatic) had an LSD standard on the Platinum and Not Available on the
Silver and Gold, and that after the Silver was dropped an LSD was standard on
the three-litre and Not Available on the automatic Platinum, automatic Gold,
or five-speed Gold. However, Scott Johnson says that Keith Goring (of 'Alfas
Unlimited') was his source for the Milano automatics having an LSD, and
Goring is not someone I would casually disbelieve. Then, cross-checking the
Alfetta 'Catalogo Rapido' (which is composed of parts-number lists keyed to
pictures, without part names) I found plates which look like the Alfetta
automatic (and only the automatic) came with a limited slip.

If anyone can shed light on this, both for the Alfetta and for the Milano, I
would be very interested; if I was wrong I would like to know it.
