Faux GTA

My 71 GTV is in the shop for bodywork and paint (Cliche Red).  Has anyone
put a serpant and cross on the hood for a faux GTA look?  The side marker
lights are shaved, but everything else is stock.  Would this be tacky,
poser-ish, cop magnet, or a cool nod to a racing history?  Thanks in
advance.
