Milano sunroof

Anyone know the best way to re-attach the cloth to the underside of the
sunroof. It's all coming down. Can't find anything but a wiring diagram for
it in the book. Maybe Alfa didn't know the sunroof was a featured item on
the car! Keen observation indicates the whole unit has to come out to fix
the cloth liner properly, especially the ass end lip. Anyone know if this
is so and how best to accomplish it? Hate to screw it up and have to drive
around with this major hole in the roof, especially in inclement weather.
Also, the spring loaded fence at the leading edge of the hole does not come
down far enough before the closing roof jams against it head on. One needs
to slide his dainty finger in the shrinking crevice and hold the fence down
with the finger tip, then quickly slip the dainty finger to hell out of the
way soon as the roof lip tops the fence and before the in-motion roof
smashes it and leaves blood, bits of bone and broken finger nail. Could be
messy! All fixes, real or imagined, are welcome. Thanks
