As a last resort, you have to pull the axle out and take it to an
auto machine shop. A press can get it off in no time. If you're brave,
another way to get it off, with the axle out, is to hold the axle up
by the splines on the shaft and ram it on the floor! I put some lug
nuts on the studs and dropped it onto a flat board, and it worked.
You might loosen a wheel stud doing this, tho. A press is better.
