4WD on Alfa33

Is there anyone who knows the differences between the 4WD used on Alfa
33. I've read about two different types, the early one without central
differential which could only be used on mud and snow, and the last type
called Q4 or P4 with a Steyr-Puch developed drive mechanism. I've got

bought me an -87 estate and I wonder what kind of 4WD I've got in it.
