To get the plug wires in the right cap position, set the #1 piston at TDC 
with cam lobes pointing outward, then look at the position of the rotor in
the distributor.  It should be pointing forward toward the radiator.  If
not, then place #1 wire where the rotor points, next (clockwise) #3, then #4
and #2 next.  The Spica injector tubes are very rigid steel which you must
never try to bend out of shape for ANT REASON!  Don't ever believe those
injectors might be plugged up, not with well over 450psi fuel.  They might
get burned or damaged somehow but never clogged.  Get your ignition wires
correctly placed and time set exactly and leave the injectors alone.  Fred
