Round wheels are better

My wonderful 88 Milano Verde had an annoying vibration above 75 MPH after
having restored the wheels to new and having all wheels/tires balanced. So
what else does one do? I dunno---that is, until the other day when I was in
the pit (yeah, yeah, I know, they're dangerous. I'll let you know when I
get killed as a result) under the car dickin' around with brake pads when
out of the corner of my eye (left one) I see a sort of small, flat,
non-round section on the inside rim of the left rear wheel. My small brain
exploded with bells, whistles, and multicolored flashing lights. I quickly
replaced that wheel with the more round spare wheel; took it on a very high
speed test ride and voil=E1, no more vibration! And there you have it. The
more round the wheel, the more better for whoever is in the fast moving car!
