Alfetta rear end clunk

A clunk in the right rear area on my Alfetta can be traced to the exhaust 
pipe which weaves around and over the rear suspension and axle.  There is 
very little clearance and rubber hangers.  The pipe starts bouncing around 
when you hit a bump and if some other part is moving toward it at the same 
time . . . clunk.
