Now THAT is weird...

Earlier today, I said:

The very next time I went out to the car, I noticed that the trip
odometer registered 2.4 miles.  I drove it in to the office; it's
outside in the parking lot now, with 11.4 miles showing, reflecting my
previously verified 9-mile commute.

Obviously, the car decided to fix itself.  This is something that must
be encouraged...
