Fuel tanks and Alfettas

Through my own laziness, I have cracked yet another
fuel tank on my Alfetta GTV (forgot to clean out
the gunk from the charcoal canister behind the back seats).

Anway, it occurred to me that I could avoid the regular
cracked fuel tank problem by putting a tank behind
the seats like the later GTV6.  A GTV6 fuel tank is,
unfortunately, hard to come by down here in
Australia  (they're relatively
valuable and don't get wrecked very often).

A 75 (Milano) tank is fairly common though.  Does
anybody know whether it will fit?  Is it a different
part number to the GTV6 tank?  I'm heading out
to a wrecker next week with a tape measure,
but any help would be great.
