164 tire wear

with 70k of 164 experience under my belt, tire wear on these cars is
pretty typical for a FWD car. Especially if you take advantage of it's
fun handling.

Mine has the typical camber settings and wears tires prefectly with
limited rotation (based on wear, not miles) I would look at setting the
toe to 0 degrees as Fred has recommended. Last guy did mine at a hair
toed in to compensate for the normal pull of the front end to 0 degrees,
and I then drove 10,300 miles in a month with perfect tire wear.

Summing up, irregular wear on front tires of the 164 should be
investigated for bad toe settings, not camber.

They do consume tires though, just the price of admission.
