105 Camshafts

Greetings,

I think I know the answer but I'll ask anyway.
Are 2 litre Alfa camshafts identical for both inlet and exhaust? That is you
don't have an inlet and exhaust cam as they are interchangeable.

Secondly are the camshaft adjusting shims listed in metric or imperial. I'm
going to buy a micrometer and wonder which I should buy. I typically still
adjust valve clearances in imperial (20 thou etc).

Finally when I replace my standard SPICA cam with a set of 10548 euro cams
will I still line up the marks on the cam with the marks on the front cam
holder when I want to time the cams on installation, or will the alignment
have to be changed with the new cams.
