winter tires

I had Yokohama AVS S4 on my 924S, and thought they sucked.
I had the Pirelli P7000 Supersports on my 928S, and they were a good
balance of performance and snow traction, although the latter
diminished as they wore.
For the 164L, I plan on using the P6000 Sport Veloce.
You may also want to check the Dunlop 4000 or  9000.
I had the 8000 on hte 928 prior to the Pirellis, and really didn't
like them.
