101 vs 105 two questions

Does anyone know :

1.  What is involved in putting a 105 1600 head on a 101 1300 block?
2.  Is it possible to put disc brakes on the rear of a 101 car by swapping
the drum brake backing plates for 105 (ATE) disc brake backing plates?  Any
body done this?
