In a sensational development in Paris, today (Saturday), Ferrari convinced the International Court of Appeal that 
the technical irregularities that prompted their exclusion from the Malaysian Grand Prix was within the tolerances allowed by 
the rules.

This means that the Ferrari team, Irvine and Schumacher will have the points they gained in Kuala Lumpur re-instated. This 
gives Irvine  the lead in the World Championship standings, ensuring a thrilling finale to the 1999 season in Japan. 


Most thrilling, I think.
