105 alignment - crooked wheel

I've been working on "training" a young alignment guy at the local
open-on-Sunday tire store with my spider and berlinas. Today on my grey
berlina, he did a pretty good job effort wise (well, an hour and 20 minutes
on the rack) and kept at it with several iterations to get near the
secifications I requested (-.5 degrees camber, -1.80 deg caster, .06" to
each side). We wound up at -.5 camber, -1.4 caster, and the .06" toe in,
and it drives well with no pull to either side. However the steering
wheel (again) did not come out straight. Since this technician will be
working on Sunday and its Friday nite now, anyone have any advice about
some simple instructions for him to minimize the readjustment?

I gave up finding a competant alignment shop in the Knoxville, Tennessee
(USA) area that would allow the alignment be done according to my
conditions (with my fat *ss in the driver seat - the way it is driven, and
with the specifications I provide). This shop allows that, is in the
neighborhood, will fix it until I'm satisfied, and is open on my day off.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck with on-the-job training...
